BRIE - BUSINESS FROM RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP A large part of future climate and societal solutions will be from activities in R&D today. Nanotechnology will provide a wide range of contributions. There is a challenge in going from research to business. Data sharing and knowledge transfer are two key factors to reduce time to market. In this special BRIE session we will focus around shared data and new business models for reducing the gap between research and business. We also address how the approach will provide credit for researchers regarding impact of research. The central point of discussion for knowledge and experience sharing will be on nanotechnology in surfaces and sensors for monitoring and data acquisition. For example in public spaces with surfaces and sensors for movement and particle monitoring. The general aspects will be on use of nanotechnology to digitalize real world objects. The session will open by a topical address by Mats Brodén (CEO at Embedded Nano A; Founder Metaverse Nordic Powerhouse, Sweden) on data sharing with block chain and NFTs to facilitate business and impact creation.
