NEXT GENERATION NANOMEDICINES

Recent advances in the field of nanomedicine have made it possible to fabricate and
manipulate engineered and bio-inspired nanomaterials to solve real-world clinical
problems for the management of wide-ranging human diseases.

This session will focus on developments to create nanomedicines, bionanomaterials
and synthetic biology.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and characterising nanomaterials exhibiting the features of mimicking cellular and sub-cellular functions,
  • Scaffolds for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine,
  • bioinspired nanomaterials,
  • Nanomaterials for medical diagnosis and treatment,
  • Novel porous nanomaterials for drug delivery and biosensing,
  • Linear and non-linear biophotonic tools to investigate the nanomaterials-cell interactions and 3D printing for medical implants, devices and other applications.
